Blocking

Over the past few decades, fighting with a shield is very imperative, and there are those who have developed an entire martial art on the subject. Here it is, the Blocking Talent to increase your defensive capabilities.

Classes: Warrior, and Rogue.

Requirement: Dexterity of 2 or higher

You are trained to use your shield with the utmost potential.

Novice: When you take a Defensive Stance Action, you gain a +2 bonus to DEF instead of the normal +1

Journeyman: When you successfully defend against an opponent’s attack, you can counter-strike but at a -2 on the attack roll

Master: You can roll with the attack, moving yourself up to 2 yards behind your target if you successfully defend against an attack
