Magic Potions

Magic potions are used to restore lost magic points for a Mage.

Potions should be used sparingly as their effectiveness diminishes if overindulgence occurs. The amount a magic potion replenishes is divided by the total number of potions taken of that type until the character sleeps. For example, if a character uses a magic potion for a second time in one day, the total number replenished by the potion would be divided by two.

*As long as your GM allows, all potions can be purchased from alchemists or made by a character with the Alchemy talent (see Chapter 3: Character Options of the Basic Rulebook). They thus have two prices: one to buy a ready vial and one to buy the ingredients to make one.
