Frostbrand and Flametongue

The fabled Frostbrand and Flametongue are 2 of the rarest seen swords. Only in myth and story have they ever been heard of. They were forged of the same steel but had different enchantments cast upon them, making them opposites in both power and form.

The Frostbrand is a long sword that resembles a katana in many ways, it has a curved blade with a simple cloth-wrapped hilt and a simple ring-guard (Or Suba). The Steel has been turned into a blue-ish hue that seems to radiate the cold, even when placed in a fire.

STATS:

As Long Sword with the following additions:

This weapon is treated as Magical and can harm any sort of spirit normally. Also, the Blade does an additional +2 Cold damage to all rolls.

This weapon can even extinguish normal fire by pointing its blade.

Frozen Blade: As a special 2SP Stunt, you can trigger the blade to become encased in ice, increasing the bonus to damage by another +2 (so a +4 cold damage total). This only lasts one encounter and has to recharge for 12 hours before use again

Frost Wave: as a special 4SP Stunt, One can trigger the Frost Wave. they extend the blade and spray a ray of frost towards an enemy. this will deal 2D6 Cold Damage and if the target fails a Dexterity (Acrobatics) Test, they will become frozen for 2 rounds, taking an additional 1D6 of damage for every turn they are encased.

The Flametongue is a long sword that seems like a traditional sword with a 2-edged blade and a cross-guard. The blade seems to be warm to the touch, even if frozen in ice.

STATS:

As Long Sword with the following additions:

This weapon is treated as Magical and can harm any sort of spirit normally. Also, the blade does an additional +2 Fire Damage to all rolls.

This weapon can even create non-magical fore by pointing the blade.

Blazing Blade: As a special 2SP Stunt, you can trigger the blade to become engulfed in fire, increasing the bonus to damage by another +2 (so a +4 fire damage total). This only lasts one encounter and has to recharge for 12 hours before use again

Flame Wave: as a special 4SP Stunt, One can trigger the Flame Wave. they extend the blade and spray a fire of frost towards an enemy. this will deal 2D6 Fire Damage and if the target fails a Dexterity (Acrobatics) Test, they will become engulfed for 2 rounds, taking an additional 1D6 of damage for every turn they are ablaze.
