Swine Laboratory

The Swine Laboratory was one of the buildings located at the former Agriculture Center along northbound Interstate 45.

The Agriculture Department used the eastern end of the 2,979 square-foot building as a hog feeding area. After the department stopped using the building in the mid-1990s, they proposed removing the roof over the eastern end and converting it to horse stalls [1].

SHSU demolished the building in 2010. An underground waste collection tank was also removed during this time.
