The Animal Sciences Lab was one of the buildings located at the Horticulture Center, southwest of main campus along Avenue M.
The 1,800 square-foot metal frame building was known in its later years as the Nutria House [1], and demolished around 1984 [2].
The building's cement footprint remained, and the Agriculture Department used it as a gated storage and supply area into the mid-2010s.
