Lost perception of land connection
how climate change affects Zia Pueblo
Climate Change will be apart of our lives forever. since coloinal times the government tried to influence us into thinking that the land is something you can take but our ancestors treated the land like it had a spirit and that we had a connection that was lost but a few still hold that bond and made a chouce to restore it with the governments funding we can reintoduce animals/plants that the land needs to survive and contunue its cycle. the land needs healing and its are job to change our perspective of how we view the land today to get a better understaning of how we as humans are connected to the land .

Sharing One Skin By Jeanette Armstrong is about how these Okanknogon native people have similar beliefs as the Pueblo people. for example, they have clans and names for a specific geographic area, my uncle's name means the mesa that Zia Pueblo is located on. we give manes that are significant to my culture such as weather animals, and mountains. paint or things we use in our ceremonies.
How place names impact the way we see the landscape This article has a connection to me because I feel that we appreciate the land. After all, we are named after a specific geographic location which can change how we view specific locations throughout our tribal lands. For example in time in monomial as native Americans, we named a location because it it significant to our people through certain events in the past that tell stories about and to keep the meaning of the particular place which we call home.

What Climate Change means for New Mexico
this article is about ¨what climate change means for New Mexico¨ which can have a major effect on the public´s health. Climate Change over the years has become more of a problem because humans have increased carbon dioxide which causes the earth to get warmer by burning fossil fuels. other factors causing climate change include less snowpack, less water availability, and extreme heat, promoting wildfires that are changing landscapes across the US. this has a drastic effect on tribal communities because we use plants hunt animals and drink the water because temperatures are uplifting it makes it hard for our people to continue our way of life.
lower pecos restoration landscape
The Bureau of Land Management is introducing $161 million for land restoration across the US to help fight Climate Change. strengthen local communities and partner with tribal communities to restore the ecosystems across the nation´s lands. landscape projects help sensitive soils and to help promote native grasses and restore animal habits to enhance recreation on Public lands.
The report examines the impacts of Climate Change on drought in the Four Corners area
a scientist Casey Spackman. a range management specialist in new mexico. the state of New Mexico State University office sent a request to help ranchers determine how much forage will be available for their livestock in the four corners area. the study finds that Climate Change will have a massive effect on the vegetation will higher temperatures the water will evaporate from the soil faster than normal causing the plants not to grow as much. precipitation is the biggest problem because how much rainfall determines how much the plants will grow.

chinas fight against climate change and environmental degradation
China has the largest energy production and will have devastating effects in the future. China's burning of green fossil fuels has caused temperatures to rise which has led to many problems. including rising sea levels, stronger storms, intense heat waves, and glaciers melting faster which will cause flooding and desertification. other factors of causing climate change are hydropower dam disrupted ecosystems and overuse of pesticides that contaminate the water supply. the Chinese government has failed to address pollution, protests have grown to large numbers to fight environmental pollution.
climate change and migration in mexico A Report launched
rising temperatures have caused perception to decrease by 11% over 100 years and 4c of temperature increase. through this event migration from mexico began to monitor how much people migrate out of mexico. most people in mexico do not register for the consenes so they are having trouble keeping count of people leaving mexico.
Canadian cities and climate change.
climate models show that the future of Canadian cities will experience more hot days and fewer cold nights as temperatures rise. hot temperatures pose a great risk of heat stroke and heat exhaustion. the city will incorporate a heat warning system to warm the people affected by the heat waves. high temperatures bake vehicle exhaust turning it into smog and posing health risks.
