My person connection about my topic: I am interested in this topic because I love horse I grew up with horses and horses are important to me and my community. My dad had a lot of horses when he was younger he would use the horses in many different ways. He would herd cattle and use them as competition but most important he would use his horses for tradition doings. That’s why our horses are important and why we keep them healthy. This topic lead me to use it for my SHP because I know alot about horses and their lifestyle. Horses run 97% of their lives that is why you have to clean their hoofs often.

In the article “sharing one skin” by Jeanette Armstrong. She speaks about her community and ideas of the okanagan community. She talks about the four capacities of self, Emotion self, thinking intellectual self, and spiritual self. And physical self the emotion self is differentiated from the physical self, the emotion self is what connects others around us. Self has another name in Okanagan. Our word for thinking is logic and strange information is difficult to translate to english because it does not have an exact correlation. It is the hardest to translate. It is referred to by the Okanagan thing . We translate the word used for our spiritual self without substance while moving continuously outward.
We lived in a world populated by places named for colonizers, libraries , streets and counties across the country like Washington, Jefferson and jackson. THose stores are important for us to remember because they’re telling us something about ourselves. The stories of all the bad conquistadors all relating to the way we see the landscapes. Joe had it tough growing up. He also made it through some tough decisions at a young age but overcame most of his obstacles in school. Joe Suina's story is sand and strong explaining how he was growing up and his educational background. When he was growing up he did not have electricity or cars, they had wagons and horses. He also had troubles with his teachers, they were not really friendly.

For the first half of the 19th century the navajo had only contacted non indians beginning in 1848 when the navajo war began in 1848 when the navajo war began army posts were built on navajo land. Horses are different than many animals they could run fast and because they weigh about 1,100 pounds the force are acting on their legs. Profound are their muscle are on the higher part of the leg. The video was important to maintian the horses hoof for working with cattle all day. They used horses to hunt buffalo. A horses can sense your feelings the horse doesen´t judge the way you are it just wants to be loved. They protect little kids because they are do innocent.
