Humans of LaSalle

New Students of LSMS

A new year, a new start! This month we travelled around the school to meet some new students of LaSalle. Here's what they had to say about becoming a Wildcat -

Selena Hall, a new seventh grader exclaimed, "I love how nice everyone is!" She further explained how she loves the community we have at this school. Selena and a few other students also said that the first few days of school took some getting used to with the hallway traffic and where to go for classes, but they made it through.

Champion Michael Johnson, another new seventh grader mentioned in his interview that LSMS is so much nicer than his old school. "The kids are so much better." Champion stated, "The teachers are also very nice."

Sam Henke, also another new seventh grader that we interviewed who was previously home-schooled mentioned that it can be a struggle sometimes when it comes to trying to open a locker. He also explained to us that he very much misses being able to stay up late and wake up late every day.

Several students mentioned that they loved how they got to sit with their friends during lunch. They also told us that they love the selection of food that is offered. From nachos to ice cream, it is very much enjoyed.

New 6th graders this year mentioned that the teachers here at LSMS have been so helpful when they are struggling or need assistance. They mentioned that the encore teachers here are very respectful and kind and are supportive of them when they make mistakes.

Thank you to everyone who is helping our new students love it here at LSMS!
