2021-2022 Inaugural Staff - They started it all!!

The Whistler Staff

A collection of 6th, 7th, & 8th graders attending LaSalle Springs Middle School, these writers put in a lot of time, energy and talent to bring you an entertaining read each month.

They meet twice a week for 30 minutes during the school day and then after school 1-2 times per edition published.

Kayla Ventura

I'm a 8th grader and my favorite color is pink. I play softball and I run country/track.

Loralei Hulsey

I like lacrosse and my favorite color is black I am a night owl and I love snowy days. I love dogs, and I actually have 3 of them.

Lily Slusser

I am a 8th grade cheerleader, who loves cookies and lacrosse . Spending time with family and freinds are my biggest proritys.

Hannah Perkins

I am in 7th grade. I love to travel, play tennis, read, hang out with my friends and family, and I love pasta and I love the color light blue and light purple.

Anny Hutchinson

I am in 8th grade currently! I love motorcycles and writing. I do Aerials (Silks, Lyra, etc).

I am in 7th grade. I love softball, tennis, reading, dance, and swimming. I also love to hang out with my friends and family. My favorite colors are pink and turquoise.

I am in 7th grade. I am a gymnast and a diver. I love cats and ducks. My favorite food is potstickers and my favorite color is orange. I like to read. I have a little sister and I like hanging out with my friends. I enjoy creative writing.

Hi! My name is nora, im an 8th grader. I am on the cheer team, and I play softball. My favorite color is purple and I love cookie dough and jambalaya.

Fia Pavia-Higel

Hey!! My name's Fia and I'm an 8th grader here at LaSalle. I love photography, theater, singing, drawing, and writing. I want to pursue political journalism in my future. I play a myriad of instruments such as ukulele, guitar (electric and acoustic), piano, and voice.
