Celebrate

At LSMS we work on our PRIDE expectations by being -

Proactive,

Respectful,

Integrity,

Determined  and

Engaged.

We show these expectations for multiple reasons such as building a better community and taking part in our school by cooperating to make the days more fun. Teachers hand out PRIDE pack cards when they see a student demonstrating one or multiple of these expectations, but for a turn of events, a group of 7th graders decided to give back and hand out PRIDE pack cards to the teachers. This was a service project that they thought of when they met up for AC Lab on Tuesdays and Thursdays with Mrs. Patton, one of our fabulous counselors. A few rewards for teachers could be awarded including a favorite candy or treat, a teaching assistant for AC Lab for 1 week, a motivational poster for their classroom, or dress like a PE teacher for 1 week. Thanks to all the student and staff members who have participated in our school PRIDE expectations.

Congratulations to the staff members who had their PRIDE cards pulled:

Amber Choate (Twix)

Adam Gabris (Almond Joy)

Ashley Grace (Dress like a PE teacher next week)

Jennifer Houchins (Nerds Gummy Clusters)

Josh Hunter (Sour Patch Kids)

Jason Mittler (Twix)

Ali Seitz (Dress like a PE teacher next week)

Allison Smith (Dress like a PE teacher next week)

Thank you, Olympic Team!

A special shout-out to Mrs. Forrest and Mrs. Wasielewski's 7th graders who wrote thank-you notes to our Whistler writers! Your handwritten, thoughtful compliments about our September edition were truly appreciated! We had the best time reading each and every one, and then we hung them on the board in order to keep us motivated for next time!  - THANK YOU!!
