Purpose and Use of Employee Handbook

It is designed to familiarize employees with essential information about the district, as well as their individual responsibilities. All employees are expected to read, understand, and adhere to the provisions contained in this handbook.

The policies and guidelines set forth in this handbook apply to all employees. In the event of any conflict between the provisions of this handbook and an applicable collective bargaining agreement, the collective bargaining agreement shall take precedence. This handbook does not constitute, nor should it be construed as, a contract of employment, expressed or implied. Separation of employment will be administered in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, as well as the provisions of any relevant bargaining agreements.
