Certain terms and conditions of employment for employees who are members of a recognized bargaining unit are established through a negotiated Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) between the Board of Education and the respective employee association.
The provisions of the applicable CBA take precedence over any conflicting statements contained in this handbook. In the event of an inconsistency between this handbook and a CBA, the terms of the CBA shall govern. Employees covered by a CBA are responsible for reviewing and understanding the provisions that apply to their position.
Copies of current CBAs accessible via the District’s website. Employees with questions regarding the provisions of a CBA should contact their union representative.
Employees who are not covered by a CBA are subject to the policies, procedures, and practices outlined in this handbook, as well as all applicable Board of Education policies and administrative regulations.
