This week's lesson is based on the artwork of Romero Britto, a Brazilian artist. He creates Pop Art which we previously studied in class. Remember, Pop Art is art that uses popular subjects so everyone can relate to the artwork and enjoy it. It is meant to be fun which Romero Britto definitely shows in his artwork! His artwork also has many patterns which we have looked at closely when we did our Zentangles project. As you know, patterns are when we repeat something over and over.
