Only One You

This week we are going to see how each of you are unique in your own way. Please watch the video below of the book "Only One You" by Linda Kranz.

Did you love that book as much as I did? That's what I thought! This week I want you to create a fish. Your fish can look however you want it to look. I want everyone's fish to look completely different and unique just like each of you is different and unique! There is only one you!

I made my fish out of construction paper. You can use whatever materials you have at home. So if you would rather draw your fish instead, that is fine! Here is how I made my fish (but remember yours should look different!) I started with an oval for a body.

Then I added a triangle for a tail.

After that I wanted to put some designs on the body. So I added stripes and circles.

Fins were the next thing I put on my fish. These were triangles as well.

I added a heart for lips.

The last thing I added was an eye.

What will your fish look like? Will it have squiggly lines or spirals? I can't wait to see! Remember you can always add your new projects you create to my Flipgrid from week 6. Your friends would love to see what you have made!
