This week's theme for our Google Meet was "Spring." Here are the projects we did:

Kindergarten looked at Pablo Picasso's "Hand with Flowers" also known as "Bouquet of Peace." We then traced our hand in pencil with our thumb pointing up. After that we outlined our hand with a black marker. Lastly, we painted green stems and colorful flowers!

First grade looked at Pablo Picasso's "Hand with Flowers" also known as "Bouquet of Peace." We then cut and glued strips of green construction paper for stems. Then we traced our hand on construction paper (which can be any color we wanted) and cut it out. Then we glued our hand on top of our stems with our thumb pointing up. Lastly, we crumpled tissue paper and glued it on the top of our stems for flowers.

Second grade made beautiful 3D flowers! We used green construction paper to make stems and leaves. The leaves we bent at the top to make them come off the page. For the flowers we folded construction paper (any color flower you wanted) two times. We then drew the letter "U" and added 3 points on top before we cut them out. Watch the video above to see how to glue the pieces together. We made our flowers a little different than the way the video did. You can make them however you would like.
