Building a Community

I'm sure you would agree that Oyster Bay-East Norwich C.S.D. has built such a strong community, especially in the past several weeks. It made me think about all the building you are doing at home - blocks, playdough and of course legos! This week we will be designing our very own legos! Your lego that you create will have a theme. Maybe you will create a scientist like the example above. Maybe you will create an artist like yourself. We will first start with a template of a lego:

After you print the template, you should start designing your lego in pencil so you can erase if you need to. Remember your lego should have a theme. This means your lego is one subject. So I wouldn't have a lego with a paintbrush in one hand, video game controller in another, wearing a sports jersey with a cow in the background. Did I make you laugh? Good! So make sure everything in your picture is related. An example would be a veterinarian wearing a doctor's coat and holding a dog. Below are some faces and types of hair to help you:
