His name is Nguyen Van Hùm. He was born in Vietnam in 1902. This was during the time when French controlled Vietnam.

When Nguyen grew up, he had to pick if he would hide in the forest with the other Vietnamese or serve the French. He choose to serve the French he was a teacher as it was a better option.

During this time, he was also secretly gathering information and giving it to the Vietnamese that were hiding in the forest. He was a double agent and He really enjoyed swimming in lakes near his house.

When the Vietnamese won against the French in May 7, 1954. the Americans came and attacked them on the 1st of November 1955 Americans lost on the 30th of April 1975.

After all the conflict, he got married and lived a happy and peaceful life with his family until he died in 1980. oh
