My grandma

MY grandma

intro Sitamaa Raju was born in Fiji,1944. She had 8 sisters and 3 brothers.Sitamaa is the oldest daughter. This was a tough in Fiji because it was during World War2. People of Fiji had to provide food for soldiers that were residing in Fiji like the NZ army. Her parents and her family grew crops and did their best to supply food.

mid- life When she was young, she was known to be sporty and adventurous. She loved playing her favourite sport was netball. At most times she would always help her family to grow crops. She went to Sabeto Sangam primary school and Nadi Secondary School. Her family lived in Sabeto Nadi. She loves Indian food.

My grandma didn’t attend church becuase because in the Hindu she cant because she was farmers daughter. she went to Sabeto Sangam primary school and Nadi Secondary her house was in Sabeto Nadi Her family life was very good She eats Indian food.

In 1974, she got married to my grandad. Once she was married she had to stay home and be a wife. Her role as a wife was to cook, clean and look after her family.

In 2003, Sitamaa and my grandad brought their family to to NZ to seek better life. They moved to Auckland. My grandma had

She now lives in our house with my family. She is now 78 years old.
