My uncle, Yoshikazu Watanabe (nickname is Yoshi) is 46 years old, born February 15th 1976, living and born in Suginami-ku, Japan (Tokyo). He is married to Aya (my auntie) and has a brother called Kazuhiro (my dad) and had three cats called Yota, Umi and Sora which sadly passed away before I was even born. In my opinion, he is one of the nicest people in the history of the universe. (heartstopper reference iykyk)
When he was in primary school, he used to like collecting stickers from candies he bought at convenience stores. He also loved watching anime called gundam. It was about robots and transformers and it was really popular back in the day and he also loved/loves reading manga (Japanese comic books). Yoshi has broken his wrist many times by falling off of his bike, crashing into a wall and even falling off of his friends shoulders. He would also get in lots of fights with his brother (my dad) and get in lots of trouble.
When he was little, he had always dreamed of working as a police motorcycle train.
He worked at a restaurant as a part time job before he started working with my grandparents since they have an awning business. An awning is like a roof-like cover that can extend over buildings to protect it from wind, rain and snow. They are mostly found by walls, doors and windows. Their awning business is actually quite well known in their local area. Last time I went to Japan I helped them make an awning for their local McDonalds, a restaurant and lots more.
He is still alive, living and thriving in Suginami-ku. He is living with his wife (Aya) and he visits my grandparents - Michico and Kesamaru - house every few days. He is/will be remembered for him and my grandparents awning business and his loveable and caring heart. He always looks after me and my brother (Takaki) when we visit Japan every few years.
I chose to write my biography on my uncle because I'm probably the closest with him in my family and I will remember his funny humour, his caring self and just himself in general. If you ever talk to him, (u wont) im sure you will like him because he is very kind and caring. Of course, my family/uncle in Japan can't speak much English apart from the basics, he is still kind and i'm sure you would love him :).
