my dad

Henare William was born on the 6th of October 1986.

He is the oldest son of Gordon and Elizabeth William of Napier. Henare is a brother to Alex Jaden, Myki, and Shannon William. In his early life, he went to Nelson Park Primary, Napier intermediate school, and later on Napier Boys High School. After school, he would normally hang out at the skateboarding parks or go fishing.

Growing up in Napier was a fun experience for him. He was always playing sports like football and rugby. According to his siblings, he was the most handsome out of all of them. My dad was also known to be always cheeky with his siblings and friends. Henare was passionate about his Maori culture so he taught himself to speak Te Reo and he was always trying to be involved with Kapa Haka at school. He was also known to be intelligent at school.

He moved to Wellington and worked himself into becoming an IT Engineer which is still his current job. He is really enjoying it and wants to own his business soon. My dad still goes fishing during his spare time, walks the dog, and plays Xbox.

Some achievements he had were coming first in cross country and he got into the Hawkes bay soccer team.

He often helps with paying for some things that involve me like school and flights but doesn't often help with much although I never really get told since my mother's family doesn’t interact with my father's family.

When I was young I used to live in Napier with my dad but it was a long time ago and I was quite young

My father is still alive even though I never see him much
