Summary of Reading in 40 words:
Abstract art is open to interpretation and it requires you to have an open, inquiring mind; you must enter the painting and see where it takes you. Abstract art can also make people uneasy because they don't automatically know what the art is "about" just by a cursory glance. We should examine the colors, forms, materials, surface, and how they interact with each other to try to understand abstract art.

Week 3 to 5: Wire Sculpting Units
The Cuboid, Pyramid and Perfect Sphere
open-cube structure: consisting of a square, a triangle, a rectangle and square base.
Connecting a Joint
My Challenges: (30 words)
My challenge was straightening the wire properly to allow the sculpture to stand up, as it was hard to bend it back to its original position. It was also hard to connect a joint as i found it hard to tie and connect the joints tightly together.
My Strategies to overcome them: (30 words)
I tried to plan out how I wanted to bend the wire and the direction that i had to bend it to make the shape of the sculpture before bending the wire. I also used objects around me to help straighten the wire against the table. I also tried to practice more so that i would be more familiar with how to connect the joints together. Over time, as i practiced more and more, i managed to get better at connecting the joints together.
