Title of Work: "Urban Collision"`UI
Year: 2024
Medium : Thick and thin wire.
Dimensions: a4
Artist Statement: 50 words
This 3D sculpture, Urban Collision, presents a chaotic cluster of diverse buildings, symbolizing the unpredictability of urban growth and the clash of human ambition. Inspired by modern cityscapes, the piece reflects how progress often defies order and control. By employing principles of contrast, balance, and asymmetry, I used a combination of digital modeling and traditional handcrafting techniques. Creating this work has taught me to embrace resilience in the face of disorder and to find harmony amidst chaos.

ONE PRAISE: 30 WORDS
The 3D structures were very well constructed and made the architectural structure look very aesthetically pleasing. The weaving techniques were also very well done and made the structure look more unique and eye-catching. Overall, I could tell that a lot of effort was put into the designing and construction of the architectural structure.
Highlight the positive words used.
ONE POLISH: 30 WORDS
I think that the weaving could be more detailed and structured to make it more aesthetically pleasing. Some parts could be more flat or textured depending on the shape, and also to make the overall structure more balanced visually.
Describe the value-addedness to the impact of your peer's work based on your suggestion.
