Last month, in October, we celebrated Custodian Appreciation Day, a day to shed light on the people helping run our schools, hospitals, and workplaces. Custodians work hard to keep these places clean and organized.
We are all so grateful for everything they do for us every day. They work to keep things clean and our school a happy place to be.
Each day we walk around and see their smiles, keeping the environment uplifting. Whenever I see our custodians in the hallways, they are always spreading positivity, and now it's our job to spread it back.
We as students should put our kindness back into our staff and community as these people have done for us.
A special thanks to our cafeteria workers as well, working hard to make sure every student has a lunch and is treated well during the day. Not only are they making our meals, serving our meals, and cleaning up the lunch room, but they give us a smile along the way. They do this every day. Thank you all for your hard work.

We as students should begin to show our gratitude to these hard workers. Even small things matter, as long as it's pushing positivity back towards these amazing people. We could begin to pick up trash on the ground that might not be ours, make sure we recycle, ensure that if there is a mess it is reported right away to prevent a bigger mess being made, and many other ways. Be a leader, be kind, and spread gratitude to others.
