Taggers have foam batons, noodles, fluff balls, or whatever. Children move around the gym and are safe if they are in a hula hoop. Another classmate can come up to them and say “excuse me, please” and the person inside the hoop must leave it. My older kids say “see ya!”

If a tagger tags a classmate with their implement, the classmate can do an exercise, dance, or whatever is predetermined before the round.
