Partners share a beanbag and 2 polyspots [for example, a red spot and a blue spot]. Hula hoops could be used as larger targets.
Child one stands on a [red] polyspot and tosses the [blue] spot in front of them. They toss their bag and try to land it on the blue spot or at least touch it.
If they are successful, partner #2 stands on the blue spot and then tosses the red spot. They toss their bag and try to land it.
If they miss the spot, they keep taking turns with their partner until they hit the spot.
Our younger kids learned that throwing their target 20 feet away from them isn’t very smart because they spend too much time trying to hit it and should instead put their target at a more reasonable distance.
