Google Slide Presentations
This is a general Slide Deck presentation that I can put up on my TV. It has tons of mirrored GIFs and parts of video clips from Speed Stacks so that left handed kids and right handed kids can work alongside each other.
Younger children such as PreK/Kindergarten students may not know or remember if they are right and left handed yet so I will kind of let them try out stacking the three cups in order going right or left. Whatever they feel comfortable with.
Some of the GIFs are from the Foellmer's Website, some of them are my kiddos, some of them are me.
I found the kiddos were having trouble with the large right and left handed Slide Decks loading, so I broke up the Slide Decks into smaller Slide Decks so there would be fewer GIFs. I set the Slide Deck to force the kiddos to make a copy of it too.
All 3rd, 4th, and 5th Graders will film themselves on Flip (formerly Flipgrid) and receive a grade on it. I have 60+ kids in a class and a video of them individually performing the skills is verification that they "got it." I posted the lefty and righty Slide decks in their Google Classroom and then they can bring their Chromebook to PE. I love the Slide Deck idea because they can practice at their own pace working on the particular patterns and transitions that they are having trouble with and make sure everything is in order before they record and submit their video.
4th and 5th Grade Assignment- Cycles- Record a cycle on FlipGrid which is a 3-6-3, 6-6, 1-10-1.
Right Handed- Cycle Slide Deck
3rd Grade Assignment- Record a FlipGrid demonstrating the following: a 3 cup up and down stack, 6 cup up and down stack, a 3-3-3, and a 3-6-3
Left Handed-4th Grade student performing a "Cycle" by doing a Flipgrid (Now called Flip.)
Right Handed- 3rd Grade student performing a:
3 and 6 cup up/down stack, a 3-3-3, and 3-6-3 by doing a Flipgrid (Now called Flip.)
Cup Stacking and Exercise Challenges for PreK-2nd Grade
Cup Stacking Challenges and Exercises for PreK-2nd Grade By: Daniel Drashinsky
This one was made by me, inspired by Coach Smith.
Kids need 6 cups.
Pictures from Daniel Drashinsky's Slide Deck. YouTube timers and GIF's from Mark and Becky Foellmer's website.
I made the Google Slide Deck into a YouTube video and varied up the timers so there was different music while it plays.

Kids need 6 cups.
They will make the towers, do an exercise, and down stack the cups before moving to another challenge.
Kids need 12 cups
This is a wonderful video for PreK/Kindergarten students as they make letters, shapes, and numbers.
Instead of an exercise, they will do a yoga and stretching pose.
Cups and Cardio with Coach Kelli Smith
Each student needs a full set of 12 cups, kids create the tower and then do the exercise. This is great for exercise and fun with cups. It doesn't emphasize cup stacking patterns. There are a lot of patterns that make it challenging for younger students to create.
I thought this one was a lot of fun, but I would not recommend doing the 12 cup videos with the younger children. My kindergarten students were loving all the towers, but it took them so long to create the 12 cup towers that they didn't get much of the exercise part in.
1st and 2nd grade, especially 2nd grade was able to keep up better.
