Students can move around the space anyway chosen by the teacher. Could mix in locomotor movements, levels, pathways, tempos, etc.
Teacher calls out what body parts should touch what colors of body parts.
Could call out by bases of support....2 body parts, 3 body parts, etc touching a spot or spots.
For children who are a little older, integrate primary and secondary colors such as one hand touches a primary color and a knee touches a secondary color.
Allow the kids to share spots, or not.
Could do elimination, or have the kids who can't do the pattern you have called out quickly enough do an exercise or some sort or re-entry protocol!
I made this wheel spinner with all 6 colors.
I also did things like saying "do a three point bridge without using red or blue."
I wanted them to think and plan!
