How to Create a GIF

You need a couple things to make a GIF. You need to be able to record your screen and you need an APP that will turn a video into a GIF. Android and Apple phones have default screen recorders on them but there are other paid options out there. I use Image Play to turn videos into GIFs.
I made this video a couple of years ago to teach my district colleagues about GIFs and how you can make them to fit your own needs.
Would you rather do your GIF work from a computer? There are many websites and Google Extensions that can help you out. I use Screencastify which is a subscription and a Chrome extension. Img2go.com is browser based website that will convert your file to a GIF.
