I use my spray painted numbers on the floor as a guide on where the bowling pins will go.
I like to do groups of 2 or 3 on a team.
The bowling pin starts in the middle of the space with the kids playing against their friends that are directly across from them. They are sliding their bean bag trying to hit the pin right in front of them. If a child hits the pin, they get to pick up the bowling pin and move it one number closer to their group. So as it gets easier for them, it becomes more challenging for their opponents. When you get the bowling pin all the way to you, you win, the pin goes back to the middle, and start all over again!
This is great for lots of running and fun! Kids can hand the beanbag it to their team after their turn or slide it back to their team to keep things moving. I don't like them throwing it back to their team because they could hit someone with a bag.
