Good morning Cardinal Families!
I hope you enjoy your weekend! Thank you to all those that came out to our 3rd Annual Dance. It was a fantastic and beautiful evening. This upcoming week we have our End of Year Awards Ceremonies, Field Day and and End of Year Class Parties.
A few reminders:
Award Ceremonies- Students are encouraged to wear their Sunday best. You may arrive 30 mins before your ceremony begins.
After the ceremony: students will be dismissed first.
Parents will be dismissed through the North side of the auditorium. If you are choosing to check your child out after the ceremony you will need to meet your teacher at the hallway outside the auditorium to sign your student out.
If you have siblings in other grades Notify the front office by noon the day of the ceremony so we can have your other child waiting for you. This is an attempt to streamline the checkout process. We will not be able to call siblings down in the moment because we will be checking in the next group of parents for subsequent ceremonies.
Field day is Wednesday- Student dress: Wear the color shirt designated below. Shorts may be worn but must meet the length requirement. No biker shorts or tank tops. Sport bras and under shirts are recommended for students to eliminate seeing through garments once wet. You may want to bring an extra change of clothes. Please see Free Dress Guidelines below. Tennis shoes are required.

Please let me know if you have any questions. We are here to serve your family!
Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Well as we wrap up our last full week of school, I must say it has been a busy one. We've had field trips, our 1st ever Donuts w/Dudes and Muffins w/Misses, our yearbook was distributed, our talent show was performed, our last Partners for Life meeting, and we are ending our week with our big family dance celebration ~ What a week!! Coming up this week is our awards ceremonies, Kinder Celebration, Field Day, and our class parties.
We do have a few extra yearbooks on hand and they are $25 and we only accept cash in the exact amount (we cannot make change). If you are interested in a yearbook, they will be on sale in the front office starting, May 16th and at the dance as well.
As we finish up the 2023-2024 school year, we are still in need of parent volunteers for our Field Day, May 22nd! If you can possibly assist Coach Nguyen that day, to make it extra special, please CLICK HERE to sign up. Also, if you are going to be at our classroom parties on the last day of school, please reach out to your child's room parents/guardian to see how you can assist. We are asking that all parents on campus that day, help in assisting the room parent/guardian with the class event (set up, serving, running a game, clean up, etc.).
Have a wonderful weekend and I look forward to seeing you all at our "Night in Hollywood" Family Dance.
