I can't believe it is already April ~ time is flying by! Thank you to all the students, parents, and staff that made me feel so blessed this past week. Please remember to check your student's folder nightly, not just to see how they are doing academically but to carefully pay attention to their behavior. If you see "marks", please note the code attached to that mark, and reach out to their teacher to find out what is happening and how you can work as a team to both support your student. Those marks count toward citizenship and can impact end of the year activities. Remember, it takes a village.
Our Partners for Life Team has been a great success this year. We created events that raised almost $2,000 this year to give back to the campus. We purchased a Cardinal Mascot, leveled readers, (English & Spanish), school supplies for students in need, items to support teachers in the classroom, supplies for field day, field trip assistance, and so much more. If you want to be part of our Partners for Life team for the 2024-2025 school year, please plan on joining us for our planning meeting on May 15th.
If you are interested in helping make the last 6 weeks of this year spectacular, please consider signing up to help for our April 16th STEM Night CLICK HERE, May 16th Talent Show (email: kathryn.bevilacqua@lifeschools.net), May 6th thru 9th College & Career Day & Kinder Celebration (email: rachael.ren@lifeschools.net), Field Day CLICK HERE, and classroom parties (email your room parent/guardian or teacher). We are going to need SEVERAL parent/guardian volunteers to make the end of the school year festivities spectacular! So please sign up to volunteer your time.
Our yearbooks are almost sold out, so if you haven't ordered your students yet, please do so ASAP. We only have about 20 left and once they are gone, they are gone. Yearbooks will be delivered to your student the last week of school. They are full color, contain all our students, and have many memories from this school year. Don't miss this special 5-year LSC Anniversary Edition. Scan the QR code or CLICK HERE before it's too late. Lastly, if you haven't yet become an LSC Fan on Galaxy Digital, please CLICK HERE so you can keep up with all the events and activities on campus and help us meet our goal for this school year!
