Module 6
Dolphin Class enjoyed a wonderful sensory seaside story. The pupils explored a variety of textures, sounds, and sights inspired by the seaside and eagerly joined in the storytelling.

Dolphin Class took part in the ‘Barnardo’s Big Toddle’ walk in the sunshine!
All of our pupils walked around the school field to help raise money for Barnardo’s—a wonderful charity that supports children and families across the UK. We had lots of fun along the way, enjoying bubbles and music to keep us going. At the end of the walk, each child was awarded a medal to celebrate their wonderful achievement and effort!

Dolphin class enjoyed their Sports Day and having the opportunity to explore the bouncy castle and ball pit. They also enjoyed participating in some sports activities including the egg and spoon race, throwing and catching and kicking balls into the goal.

Dolphin Class had a wonderful time on their first community trip to the local shops. Every student walked exceptionally well both there and back, actively participated in finding items on the shopping list, helped with scanning the items at the tills, and enjoyed some ice cream in the sunshine! Well done, Dolphins!

Children in Need Friday 15th November - Dolphin Class has had a fantastic time exploring and taking part in activities for Children in Need! We enjoyed exploring our yellow sensory tuff tray, dancing to our favorite songs, decorating our own Pudsey Bear cakes, and painting our very own Pudsey Bears. A big thank you to everyone for your amazing support!

Module 1
We have had a fantastic Term 1 in Dolphin class, with all students settling into their new environment and beginning to build meaningful relationships with both staff and peers. Our focus on the transdisciplinary theme 'How We Express Ourselves' has led to engaging inquiry learning sessions that students have thoroughly enjoyed. We wish you a wonderful half-term break with your families and look forward to welcoming you back in Term 2, ready for the festive season ahead!

Dolphin Class has thoroughly enjoyed exploring our sensory garden this term. We've been observing the various vegetables grown by our peers and watching them grow! We’ve had a wonderful time watering the vegetables, engaging our senses as we explore, and developing our independence and turn-taking skills.

Forest School
Dolphin class has been enjoying Forest School every Thursday afternoon. The students have had a fantastic time splashing in the water play station, exploring the mud kitchen, testing their balancing skills on tree stumps, and relaxing in the hammock. We look forward to continuing these adventures throughout the module!
