This term has been a very busy one in Giraffe class. The children have been participating in the NSPCC Speak out Stay safe programme. They have all been enjoying weekly Beaming Stars sessions with a specialist teacher and all children received a class certificate for their enthusiasm and hard work. We have also been using the new library. The children love to look at the new books and listen to the adults read to them.
This term Giraffe class have been looking at alternative environments and begining to understand how they can recycle materials. They have really enjoyed exploring the desert and the animals and plants that live there. They have even made their own desert scenes in geography. In cooking they have been exploring fibre and how to keep themselves healthy. All of the children have explored a variety of different fruits and using new equipment.
