Bear Class had a brilliant time with Born2Ride and did a fantastic job of learning how to ride a bike. The students wore their helmets and went for a bike ride around the playground with adult support!

We’re thrilled to introduce our new central idea for the Modules 4, 5, and 6 of the school year: 'We live with people, animals, and plants, and we all need to look after the world together'! Throughout this module, we’ll be taking part in lots of exciting learning opportunities drawing on our lines of inquiry and the wider curriculum. Students will explore the world around us, including places around our school and in the wider community. It looks to be an exciting module, and we look forward to sharing our weekly updates with you on the class website!

'Bouncing' Bear Class took part in Phase 1's end of term production this week! The students dressed up in elf costumes and performed to 'Sleigh Ride' by The Ronettes. The whole class worked very hard and were fantastic at jingling bells, bouncing around, and spreading the festive cheer!

Bear Class really enjoyed exploring Milestone Academy's onsite library this week! The students chose books they found interesting, and sat with a staff member to read and explore these stories. Our library visit is always one of the favourite parts of the week!
The students enjoyed their first Forest School session of the module this week! They splashed around in the water play area, cooked up some masterpieces in the mud kitchen, and tested their balance on the tree stump trail. Bear Class really enjoyed exploring the new environment, and we look forward to the rest of the sessions for this module!

Throughout this module, we’ll be taking part in lots of exciting learning opportunities drawing on our lines of inquiry and the wider curriculum. Students will explore the world around us, including places around our school and habitats in the local environment. We are particularly excited to take part in Forest School throughout Module 1! The students will also be looking at what it means to 'be me in my world', and will be looking at belonging and expression within different communities and through different mediums. It looks to be an exciting module, and we look forward to sharing our weekly updates with you on the class website!
