Module 3
Welcome back to Module 3! We are all very excited to begin module 3 with our new theme ' How we organise ourselves'. In Science we will dive into Growing Humans and The Senses. By understanding how our senses help us process information, we can learn how to keep ourselves safe and healthy. This connects to our focus on a Balanced Diet and developing Ball Skills, as we explore how we must organise our physical habits to stay active and strong. Even our creativity has structure! Students will explore the rhythmic patterns of Nursery Rhymes and the narrative structures of Adventure Stories. In Art, we will study Giacometti, looking at how he organised space and form in his unique Sculptures. These creative outlets allow us to express who we are within our central theme of "Being Me in My World." Finally, we look at how society organises its values. Through our study of Buddhism, we will focus on Compassion and Caring. We will reflect on how organising our actions around kindness creates a more harmonious community for everyone. We are all looking forawrd to a very busy and productive module!
