On Friday 14th November, hedgehog Class honoured Children in Need by completing activities with a Pudsey Bear focus.

Welcome back to Module 2. This week we have been able to provide lots of sensory experiences for the children based on fireworks and Remembrance in order to recognise the different celebrations this month. Hedgehog class have begun to follow adult direction to complete tasks and have been risk takers when engaging with different textures.
I can explore different textures using my hands.

I can use my fine motor skills to manipulate tools.
I can use sensory activities to develop my filling and pouring skills.
Module 1
We are very excited to welcome Hedgehog Class to Leigh Academy Milestone @ Leigh Academy Cherry Orchard. The children began school on Wednesday 10th September and have settled really well. They are getting used to new routines, places, people and friends. This term we will be focusing on settling in and building strong relationships.
Module 1 has been full of new experiences and exciting activities for Hedgehog Class. They have all settled in very well and we are really proud of the engagement they have all shown so far. Wishing you a very happy half term break and we will see you back at school on Monday 3rd November 2025.
