Term 4

Our topic this term is 'Let's Go On an Adventure'  - we are looking forward to exploring different environments using our senses and developing our understandings of different cultures! 

This term our topic is Wild Wild West

So far we have explored cowboy cooking, making cowboy stew and coleslaw among other things! We have also been looking at recycling in our science lessons and have done some lovely junk modelling. In PSHE we are thinking about road safety and have designed traffic lights and road signs to use during our sensory play.

TERM 2

This term our topic is 'A Special Time of Year.' 

We will be looking at different celebrations including Remembrance, Diwali and Christmas. 

We will be working towards our Christmas production which we look forward to inviting you to towards the end of term.

It's been a full filled term in Flamingo class with lots of great activities and learning taking place.  We've all especially enjoyed our history topic looking at Christmas past and making traditional Christmas decorations. We have worked hard on our social skills with our friends and have been looking at plants and how they change over the seasons during our horticulture lessons. We have all enjoyed our sensory stories this term too which have focused on remembrance, Diwali and Christmas. We have also had our Speak Out, Stay Safe programme this term and everyone has worked well with the mascot Buddy!
