Module 6
Welcome back to Module 6, we are looking forward to a wide range of learning experiences in our final term of the year. This module we are continuing with our transdisciplinary theme 'Where we are in place and time'. We will be exploring everyday materials, the eatwell plate, Man on the moon, construction and recycling and symbols in Hinduism. We will also continue to work towards our Individual Learning Plan targets with continuous small step skill development in Maths, English and PSPD.

Module 5
Welcome back to Module 5, we hope you had a great Easter break! This term we look forward to continuing to work towards our transdisciplinary theme 'Where we are in Place and Time'. We will be exploring Kirsty's garden and where food comes from, old and new seasides, symbols within Christianity, and dance in PE. As well as continuing to work towards our ILP Maths, English and PSPD targets everyday.

Module 4
Welcome back to Module 4 this term we have a new transdisciplinary theme ' Where we are in Place and Time'. This term we are exploring Lowery, food for journeys, oceans, Christianity and Judaism and food, drink and exercise. We have a busy term ahead and will contiue community participation to the local shops to develop our self help, regulation and life skills.
Module 3
Module 3 has been a great start to the New Year! This term we are looking forward to exploring habitats, Cass Holmes, root vegetables, weather, synagogs and churches. We have a busy term ahead, continuing to work on our self help and independence skills as well as building relationships and regulating our emotions and behaviour.
Module 2
Welcome back to Module 2 a time of year to celebrate the festivals of light!
Lion Class have settled in well to Module 2, returning well to the structure and the routine of the day, showing awareness and a clear progression in independence and self help skills. This Module we look forward to our Phase Nativity and Christmas party with lots of other fun activities for families to attend.
We have begun the Module exploring Piet Mondrian's methods and techniques, caring for others and celebrating the different festivals of light through a range of multisensory experiences and activities. We have continued to enjoy community participation weekly into the local village attending the shops and the bakery; working towards our managing behaviour, communication and self awareness targets to access the community safely and appropriately.

Lion Class has settled in well and all students have begun to build meaningful relationships with staff and peers. The students have all responded well to the structure and routine of the day and are becoming increasingly independent with this. The students are beginning to initiate interactions with each other and are utilising tools in the classroom and daily routine to support their self regulation, with adult support.
This term Lion Class have been developing their independence and self help skills to support and promote independence, self regulation and managing emotions when accessing new areas of the school environment. As well as transitioning between areas of the school and accessing the wider community, safely and appropriately.
We are very proud of how well the students have settled in and started the new school year, well done Lions!
We have continued to work hard on our Read Write Inc skills exploring; speedy sounds, letter formation, writing grips, decoding and blending.
