Bear Class has had a busy fun filled term. We have started exploring our local community this term, visiting the shops, library and cafe in small groups. Pupils have been able to take their own shopping lists and mark items off with an adult. As a class we have really enjoyed our specialist teaching lessons of Drama and preparing for our Christmas production. We have enjoyed making different crafts and participating in the pantomime, soft play Christmas trip and clubs with new friends on a Friday afternoon.

Pupils have become aware of the change in weather by independently making choices to put on wellies in the rain or take off their coats when it is warmer. This term we have focused a lot on PSPD and how we can support one another to express and regulate our emotions, wants and needs using Zone's of Regulation and new activities such as new massage and sensory stories. We have also been on a journey each week in Drama to a range of continents, through sensory activities, exploring a range of music and resources in small groups.
Have a great half term break. Happy Easter.
