Welcome back to the last module of this academic year. We have been very busy at Stepping Stones and have finally moved into our lovely new building. The children have settled well in their new setting and have been exploring and engaging in lots of activities. Our focus stories for this module are 'Polar Bear, Polar Bear What Do You Hear?', 'Rainbow Fish' and 'The Hungry Caterpillar'. We have more exciting activities planned for the last few weeks of this academic year, and we look forward to sharing more news about what the children have been learning.

As you can see from the pictures there has been some lovely learning going on!
We wish this cohort of children farewell as they will all be leaving us at the end of this term. We wish them all the best on their next educational journey.

Stepping Stones Nursery has had a great start to the new academic year. It has been lovely to welcome all our new pupils and they have settled well into their new environment. We have explored lots of activities based around our senses. We explored different scents, looked at different visual/textured toys/objects and did some food tasting of new foods.
The children in Stepping Stones have settled back into the nursery after half term and have been exploring The Rainbow Fish and Elmer Stories. We have had lots of fun engaging in different activities and exploring with all our senses. The children also took part in activities for Remembrance Day, Diwali and Children in Need.
Stepping Stones have been engaging in some lovely Christmas activities. We enjoyed the sensory story Home for Christmas and the children have been doing lots of painting and cooking activities. They made some salt dough decorations for them to hang on their Christmas trees at home.
