Incentive Day

The incentive day has been changed, but not in a good way. Now, we are only allowed to have an incentive day once a month. There is absolutely no point in having an incentive day once a month. If anything, we should change it to having it more. This is because people need the incentive. Especially if we sit through an eight-hour school day, five days a week, and only get lunch for a break.
If we are going to have an incentive day once a month, we should at least be able to have a longer lunch break. We need a break. We can’t be expected to work five days a week and not get time for ourselves! Many people agree with this.Â
Lacey Hartley says, “Yes, we should be able to have incentive days multiple times a month because we need a break from working in every class.” This is very true. After four and a half days of working in every single class period, we are going to need more than one break. Whether it's going outside, playing games, or even watching a movie, we at least need a period to get our minds straight and have a minute to take a breath.
In conclusion, we should be able to have an incentive day every Friday of the month and not once a month. We need our breaks to get our minds at least half straight. Even if it’s only a small, forty-five-minute break, we all need a bit to take our mind off working - and having weekly incentive days would be perfect for that.
