Warmer Winter

Do you think this year’s winter is warmer? This year's winter is way warmer than last year’s. Normally, in November and December, it would already be snowing. And, in October, it would be in the fifties and sixties. 

After a couple of interviews, this information I gathered. 

Lacey Hartley says, “Yeah, I guess. Because last year, it was already snowing right now.” 

This is true. Last year, in December, it was already snowing and skiing, snowboarding, and skating weather. 

Elsa Martin says, “Yes. Because in October, it was already in the sixties. Right now, it is supposed to be snowing.” 

This is also true. Normally, by this time of the year, people would be doing winter activities such as building snowmen and ice skating- People would even be shoveling their driveways because of how much it snowed. But now, there aren’t low enough temperatures or much snow at all to do any of these things. 

In conclusion, this year’s winter is warmer than average. In other years, around this time it would be very cold, windy, and snowy, but this year it has been too warm. There is little to no snow because temperatures are so much higher than our normal winters are.
