You are chilling on the couch and then, you remember that it's Black Friday today! When you check the clock, it's 10:00 PM. You are disappointed because you’ve missed your big chance to get a discount on all the things that you really wanted. After a few days pass, you realize that Cyber Monday has come! You quickly go on your phone and order the thing that you really wanted. But, the next day, you find yourself wondering… how much did Cyber Monday make this year?
On November 27th, also known as Cyber Monday, people were going crazy to the point that this holiday made over 12.5 billion dollars in revenue. But why is this? Why do people go so crazy during Cyber Monday?Â
Well, one of the reasons why Cyber Monday accumulated so much money is because of the discount and sales (Reuters). People are constantly trying to get all of the presents that they need for Christmas at a really low price so they can save more money to get more stuff. Cyber Monday allowed prices to be cut in half. As a result, expensive items that might be $500 were given a 50% discount. This makes the item $250 less than it would be!Â
Another reason why Cyber Monday was such a success is because people can buy stuff while being in your own home. The reason why people would like to buy stuff online is so that they don't have to go outside and fight for things with people on Black Friday.
In summary, those are the reasons why Cyber Monday was such a big success this year.
