Wrexham FC, and their gain of popularity

Wrexham is not your normal football club. Wrexham is the third-oldest professional football club in the world. It was established in 1864, the same year that the Football Association was established and the laws of the game were originally drafted.

Wrexham plays its home matches at the Racecourse Ground, which has a capacity of over 10,000 spectators. The team's colors are red and white, and the club's nickname is the Dragons.

After the premiere of the "Welcome to Wrexham"  which was released on FX Entertainment, which is also streaming on Amazon Prime Video, which chronicled the club's purchase by Hollywood stars Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, interest in Wrexham AFC rose. The documentary gave viewers an inside peek at the goals and objectives of the new owners as they set out to invest in the club and make it a household name. Along with showcasing the club's history and culture, the series also highlighted the fervor and commitment of the supporters. 

Both reviewers and viewers praised the performance, which also contributed to increase awareness of Wrexham AFC both domestically and internationally. Football supporters were also quite excited about it because they were interested in how Reynolds and McElhenney would perform in their new positions as club owners. 

Wrexham reported a sharp rise in shirt sales as well as an increase in social media interaction and followers after the series' publication. The club also saw a surge in media attention, with numerous publications addressing the new management and the future goals of the team.

All in all, the "Welcome to Wrexham" series did a superb job of promoting the team and peaked supporters' enthusiasm both in Wales and abroad.

Reynolds portrays the Marvel superhero Deadpool, and McElhenney is the creator and star of the longest-running live-action comedy series in the US, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. The two traveled the globe in quest of a sports team to finance. a group with a backstory, a sense of belonging, and room to grow.

Ever since Ryan and Rob have incorporated themselves with Wrexham FC, they have had a major impact in the city and the university. Similar to the club, Wrexham Glyndwr University has a long history of fostering a feeling of community and progress within the local and regional area. The spotlight on Wrexham FC has drawn attention to the club's history as well as its aspirational goals for improving the neighborhood, which align with those of the university.

Finally this club grew very much in terms of popularity
