Two weeks, they said. Here we are after 600 days of distance learning, now returning to campus. After being the last country in the world unapproved for face-face learning, kids will finally see each other and start in-person sessions on November 15, 2021.
After months online, kids deserve to go back to school in person. School is not only a place of learning, it is also a place where children have the opportunity to socialize and learn important people skills. It probably goes without saying that children will probably develop more worthwhile connections in person rather than online. The Center of Disease Control recently released a statement highlighting the importance of in-person connections for the development of children.Childhood is a crucial time. It seems like every day kids will learn something new. Many of those lessons revolve around connections and how to make healthy relationships. Studies show that socializing in person and developing connections with people can even reduce a child's stress.
The truth is, while remote learning may curb the spread of COVID-19, it has devastating implications on students from K-12. Regardless of what school leaders say about distance learning, it is nowhere an acceptable replacement for the in-person education so many students depend on, especially kids in their younger years. For example, without social interaction, kids may have trouble in the future with empathy and people skills.
In the end, it is overwhelmingly clear that distance learning is no match for the valuable experiences that students derive from an in-person education. In addition, we can’t stay online forever. The coronavirus will always be here, and it depends on how we react further. In addition to the vast drawbacks to distance learning, research demonstrates that schools can open safely and intelligently in the new age of COVID-19.

There are several problems with the traditional system of education. First of all, you need to pay thousands of dollars per term to attend a prestigious school. With all those budget cuts, busy classrooms, and course shortages, you won’t always get the chance to study exactly what you want. It’s no wonder why millions of students from all around the world opt for online degree programs or take at least one college course through an online platform. Online learning has to be the greatest revolution in contemporary education. It made a huge change in the system and opened great opportunities for everyone who wants to learn something.
An advantage of online education is that it allows students to attend classes from any location of their choice. It also allows schools to reach out to a more extensive network of students, instead of being restricted by geographical boundaries. Additionally, online lectures can be recorded, archived, and shared for future reference. This allows students to access the learning material at a time of their comfort.
Online education enables the teacher and the student to set their own learning pace, and there’s the added flexibility of setting a schedule that fits everyone’s agenda. As a result, using an online educational platform allows for a better balance of work and studies, so there’s no need to give anything up. Studying online teaches you vital time management skills, which makes finding a good work-study balance easier.
Online courses and degree programs are more convenient than their counterparts in traditional education. There are many other advantages of online learning that lead many students to opt for online platforms when they want to earn a degree or certificate. The best thing about online learning is that you can learn in a relaxed manner and that you can be anywhere around the world to participate.
