MS students should have a study hall like HS students

MS students should get a study hall, just like HS students. People may say that MS students do not need a study hall but I don’t agree.  MS students should get study hall like HS students.

 MS students get only 30 minutes at the end of the day to try and finish their homework or remaining work they didn’t manage to finish during class. That might not be enough for some students who are behind in their work. Also, by the end of the day, many students may be tired. 

In middle school in 7th and 8th grade, we get a little more homework than we do in 5th and 6th grade. We have more tests and we might not be able to finish in-class time. Giving students in 7th and 8th grade more time to finish their work will help them to not stress about so many things.  

Lastly, if we get at least one entire block once a week to catch up on things we couldn’t finish in-class time it will be a lot more convenient for 7th and 8th graders. Most of our major tests are in the time length of one to two weeks. So, if we are given at least one block per week students will be able to reach our full potential and give our best work forward.

MS students should get study hall like HS students.

MS students do not need a study hall. Study halls are spaces for students to study freely on their own. Some may say MS students need a study hall but I disagree-MS students should not get a study hall like HS students . 

Middle schoolers only get a limited amount of homework each week that does not require a separate study room. 

We already have a library with tables that can be used as a study area and already has been. The library provides several different tables with chairs and separate study rooms for students to use. Having a separate study room other than the library may take away some purposes of the library.  

Lastly, we have tutorials. Tutorials is a time for us to finish up work or get assistance from teachers for certain classes. This is the time where a lot of us do our homework or catch up on work. This is usually done in a classroom. 

So in conclusion, we do not need a study hall.
