Congratulations to Nicole Tang (10G1) for a spectacular achievement! On August 16, 2025, Nicole secured the 1st Runner Up Title at the Women Cadet Epee Fencing Championships held at the Asia Expo. This prestigious result marks her first major championship since joining our ICS community. With God's blessing, this stellar accomplishment is a wonderful start to her journey with us and a tremendous source of pride for the entire school.
A huge congratulations to Wo Siu (3B) for his outstanding achievement last Sunday, August 24! Competing in the prestigious Hong Kong Go Tournament 2025, Wo Siu secured an impressive third place in the competitive 1-5 Kyu category, finishing behind a secondary school champion and a university runner-up. His brilliant performance earned him a promotion to the rank of Amateur 1-Dan and a registered spot as an athlete in the Hong Kong U12 Go competition.
Paul Chiu has been crowned the champion of Group D at the Kidult Chess Academy (KCA) Ranking Tournament. Through a series of impressive performances, he demonstrated exceptional skill and composure to triumph over his competitors. This significant victory solidifies his standing and marks a promising step forward in his competitive journey.
Rafael and Ralston joined respectively the U10 and U8 Divisions of the Nam Bei Cup 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament 2025 on 24 August 2025. During the Tournament, Rafael and Ralston together with their teams competed with all their efforts and successfully advanced from the group stage through the semifinals to the finals. With their determination, hard work and tremendous passion for basketball, both their teams won the first runner-up in their respective Divisions.
Lucas Chan from G1B has won Champion in U7 Mini Red Competition in tennis on Aug 24! He has been joining the Mini Red competitions since he was 5 years old which was 1.5 years ago and he managed to win the Champions in U6 and U7 within this period. He is proceeding to U8 orange ball game in the next stage. We are all proud for him.
From August 19–24, Abraham Li (9G3) took part in the football exchange camp at HAGL Football Academy in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, as the only student selected from Hong Kong. The camp brought together youth players from across Southeast Asia, offering a unique opportunity to train, compete, and learn alongside talented athletes from the region. Immersed in local football culture, Abraham built new friendships and grew from this meaningful experience, both on and off the pitch. The entire school community looks forward to hearing more about his journey and insights from the camp.
Aidan Lam (10G6) has earned a prestigious selection to the Hong Kong Men’s Foil Cadet and Junior Fencing Team, and will begin training with the Hong Kong Team this October at the Hong Kong Sports Institute.
Aidan earned his selection after a year of rigorous competitions against hundreds of top young athletes across the region. His technical skill, perseverance, and composure under pressure have established him as one of Hong Kong's most promising young fencers. We congratulate Aidan on this milestone and look forward to supporting him as he prepares to represent Hong Kong on the international stage.
