Supporting our schools to create effective School Development Plans
Supporting our schools to create effective School Development Plans, using the outcomes of Self-Evaluation
An effective School Development Plan created using a range of robust first-hand evidence is an essential component to enable worthwhile Professional Discussions. To support this the EAS will work alongside schools to collect accurate first-hand evidence to evaluate progress. Throughout the year the EAS will hold discussions with school leaders to draw out the key findings of self-evaluation and to support the identification of key priorities the school needs to address.
Professional learning sessions to support school leaders in developing robust systems and processes for self-evaluation and school improvement planning will be scheduled throughout the academic year. The EAS and LAs will promote the professional learning offer to school leaders, prioritising those who need the greatest support.
