This series of professional learning opportunities will provide guidance on how to plan for progression using concepts in humanities.
Each session will focus on different concepts identified within the Humanities Statements of What Matters explaining what they mean and how they can be utilised to plan in-depth learning experiences.
Resources: Progression map(s) to strengthen long and medium-term curriculum planning. Programme materials to support sharing and further development within school.
This practical, hands-on professional learning will be delivered by Ordnance Survey. The session will provide ideas, advice and example resources on how the school grounds and the Digimaps resource can be utilised as part of the geographical fieldwork process. These EAS RVE online subject webinars are designed to asynchronously develop practitioner knowledge, understanding, and confidence in a range of beliefs, religions, and lived experiences. Alongside the resource, EAS offers a drop-in session to answer any questions or support with any planning alongside the resource. Links to each session will be uploaded following each session.

Cathy Priest, experienced science teacher and Youth and Schools Programme Training Officer at The Faraday Institute for Science and Religion will explore these issues and share fun, age-appropriate classroom resources to help you develop and then later share a case study of this integrated approach.

Thinking together in RVE will explore the experiences, knowledge, and skills at the heart of the new curriculum. This flexible pedagogy can also unite all ages, stages and subjects.
