Language courses for education professionals in Blaenau Gwent, Monmouthshire, Newport and Torfaen.
The National Centre for Learning Welsh (Learn Welsh Gwent) will offer a range of Entry and Foundation level development courses for education professionals in Blaenau Gwent, Torfaen, Monmouthshire and Newport during 25-26. These are in addition to their wider offer available for professionals at all language levels.
All courses are free at the point of access to the education profession.
All courses are offered online via the centre’s virtual platform.

The Group for Education in Museums (Cymru) Museum Visit Bursary scheme, funded by the Welsh Government’s culture division, offers grants up to £1,000 to help state-maintained schools in Wales take their students to an accredited museum in their area. For mor information, follow the link below.
Two students from your school or college can join the autumn 2025 project for £59 per person. Participants will attend an in-person seminar in Cardiff where they will have the opportunity to meet and hear from a Holocaust survivor before joining a one-day visit to the Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and Museum in Poland. Travel subsidies are available, and places are allocated on a first come, first served basis with priority given to schools which have not previously participated.
